Myers Towing was founded in 1972 by Stan and Elaine Myers in Belle River, Ontario and has been serving the Southwestern Ontario community for over 40 years. Stan Myers built his first tow truck 45 years ago and has helped to revolutionize the towing industry as we know it today. Our company was founded on integrity, trust, loyalty, and the desire to provide the most competent people to meet the needs of our clientele, no matter how extreme the situation. Our services have been requested in distant locales since we are one of the few companies in the province capable of the most extreme recoveries.

The company has grown to include 3 yards in Windsor, a yard in Lakeshore, a yard in Tecumseh and opening soon in Chatham. Our fleet consists of 37 vehicles today serving points in Ontario, Quebec and the United States. The vehicles in our portfolio range from the largest Wrecker/Recovery Vehicle in Ontario - an 80-ton Rotator complete with a 120-ton boom that extends 60 feet that was custom engineered and manufactured by Stan Myers Service, Wrecker/Recovery Vehicles including 50-ton, 45-ton, 40-ton, 35-ton, 30-ton, 20-ton, 15-ton and Medium and Light-Duty Wrecker/Wheel Lift Vehicles. We have 10 Flatbeds ranging in capacity from 10,000 to 40,000 lbs. We also have Tractors, Float (up to 160,000 lb. capacity), Landoll Trailers, Dry-Box and Refrigerated Van Trailers, Dump Trailers, Tilt-N-Load and Roll-Off Trucks and Containers.

We have 2 fully equipped Emergency/Environmental Response Vehicles for scene and spill cleanup. We also have Air Cushion Recovery and Traffic Control Vehicles to ensure the safety of our staff, your staff and equipment, and the general public.

We have a staff of 30 highly trained individuals including Emergency Response Team Coordinators, a Full-Time Health & Safety and Environmental Administrator, individuals trained in Traffic Control, Incident Command Systems, Hazardous Materials Response, Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene, Disaster/Spill Cleanup and Air Cushion Recovery. We also have full-time mechanics to continually maintain our equipment.

Myers Towing & Recovery is proud of our Environmental Initiative and we are a Green Contractor registered with the Ministry of the Environment - Ontario, ECA Number 5988-8WBPXR for collection, handling and transportation of non-hazardous, liquid industrial, hazardous liquid, and hazardous solid waste including asbestos.
